Theological Education by Extension in Zambia launches its FAITH Saving & lending Initiative Groups in Kasama
In its quest to build the capacity of its member Churches and individuals, Theological Education by Extension in Zambia (TEEZ) on 13th May 2019 launched its new program brand called 'Financing Appropriate Innovation Through Household Economic Empowerment (FAITH Savings & Lending Groups) in Kasama. The event took place at UCZ St. Luke's Congregation.
The program launch was followed by a training of 56 participants. At the end of the training the participants developed an action plan that will see 10 Saving Groups formed in Kasama.
It is hoped that this innovative model will enhance economic sustainability and promote local ownership by those trained.
We are grateful to our partners who supported the implementation of the project.
